Irwin Hui earned his Bachelor of Arts in Music with a concentration in Flute Performance from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he studied under the esteemed musicians Sheridan Stokes and Denis Bouriakov. Since 2012, Mr. Irwin has taught flute to students of al ages through private instruction. Many of his students come through referrals and reviews, a testament to his expertise and success as both a teacher and musician. Mr. Irwin also brings professional performance experience, having played and recorded background music for Phoenix TV’s program Footprints.
He takes pride in helping students achieve measurable growth while cultivating discipline, confidence, and artistry. Mr. Irwin’s fluency in Cantonese and French helps better support students and families, if needed, and further reinforces his range and flexibility as a teacher.
